Fleet Pain Relief Pads is manufactured by Fleet pharmaceuticals. It is only available in some pharmacies, not all.

It can be used for mainly external hemorrhoids, as the pads are a little difficult too reach internal hemorrhoids.

It's uses are for the following:

* It helps to temporarily relieve all pain associated with hemorrhoids, soreness and burning on contact.

* It helps with the relief of anus itching general discomforts associated with hemorrhoids.

* It helps to temporarily provide a coating on the hemorrhoids thus relieving of anorectal discomforts.

* It helps to temporarily form a protective layer over the inflamed tissues thus helps in preventing drying of the tissues.

As you can see from the above formula. It contains a protectant and an anesthetic combination.

The protectant will serve to avoid any further deterioration of the hemorrhoids while it is healing.

The anesthetic will numb the area on contact so that you don't feel anymore pain.

Pads are an easy to use alternative to creams and ointment. A simple wipe and it's all done. Many people do actually prefer to use pads for this purpose rather than the creams and ointments.
